| Reason for being au pair: | I'd like to be an au pair because I like children, taking care of them, and I also would like to go to an english-speaking country because I'm keen of english language. The only "english speaking" country I've been to is India, so I would like to go to England(for example) as an au pair to learn how to pronounce words and speak fluently. I think it's really important to be in an homestay to learn a language, so as you can learn the daily words, and familiar words too, that you wouldn't have anywhere else. And, if they want, I would be able to learn some words of French to the children and their parents so as it would be an exchange of learnings and not only my own learning. | |

| Description of experience: | I did babysitting for my neighbours when they had to go to hospital because the mother broke her leg. I had to look after the two little brother, of 2 and 7. The parents left me at their home all the day till midnight, so I played with them, gave them the meals, keep watch on them, I change the nappies of the little one and we watch TV together a bit. When the telephone rang, I was careful to take the baby with me and not let him alone. I didn't have to do that with his big brother because he was older and more autonomous. I did babysitting for seven or eight times, when the parents have to go away for the day or the evening, and everything was right everytime. | |
