| Reason for being au pair: | have not experienced the pleasure of being an Au Pair before, but I have experience with children under supervised conditions. I am very confident in the fact that you will be very happy with me as I am pursuing courses in first aid and infant - toddler - school-going courses so that I am better prepared. I will also be volunteering at my Aunts Daycare centre for the duration of this year to expand my knowledge. I am an obedient person in the sense that I will do whatever is required from me with no hesitation and I am very accommodating. Although I like to stand up for my beliefs, I am very open-minded and will not judge or argue about different belief systems. I am strongwilled but a softy - the right combination for you and your children! I'm a patient, caring, humble, considerate person. I love music and enjoy dancing. I have a keen interest in learning about other cultures and I love to learn different languages. I also love to travel but have not traveled out of my country before. I have just completed my schooling in an all girl private school. I was part of my schools' magazine management team and journalist team and in my last year, was awarded the position of Secretary to the magazine. I love to read and write and I enjoy teaching English among many other things. I am a very neat person and like to organize things - I have experience in working with many types of people. I have worked at a DVD shop, at a vegetable farm as a temporary office lady doing filing and contracts as well as answering phones etc. I am currently working part-time at a ladies Gym and Spa as a receptionist. I love children and always am graced by the presence and attention of little ones when out in a mall or at a restaurant. For some reason they love to me (I am not complaining as it makes my day). I really believe that I should be working with children as I would love to have some of my own but I am not at the right age or level in life to support them emotionally or financially. I like to be social but also keep to myself - the right amount of each is a good thing! I am also very energetic and I love animals so anything that needs to be done, I will do it as efficiently as possible whether it is to do with the children or any pets you might have. I have a multitude of birds and three lovely dogs - one of which is my baby and follows me wherever I go around the house. I have skills in cooking, cleaning, horse riding, reading, writing, animal care, gardening, advice and presentation (for your little beauty queen and gentleman) as well as filing, people skills and a very creative mind. I am an active person but because I never took to sports as a youngster, I do not know how to play any sports games well. I would love to be taught how to play if your children would accept the task! I think that choosing a 'Big Sister' for your children is one of the most important decisions you will make. Your children are the love of your life and I will without hesitation put their needs and safety above mine and will make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times. I would like to work as an Au Pair because I understand the important fact that every household is different and has different opinions and attitudes towards how their children are cared for. I love to be around people and I would love to make lasting relationships with my future host family and children. Children are all miracles and I believe that everyone needs a friend when they are growing up to help them understand all these changes and to help them make the right decisions. Sometimes it is seen as a bit embarrassing or uncomfortable to talk to parents and it is easier to talk to someone you can relate to. I would love to have that task! | |
